"God's love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him, making everything right for them and their children as they follow his Covenant ways and remember to do whatever he said." (Psalm 103: 17,18)

Bush camp day 3...

Wednesday, day 3 of camp.  The guys are holding up well so far.  They have weathered the rains and thunderstorms.  There were lots of periods of blue skies with some sun today...thanks for praying :)!  And then there were a couple of downpours usually lasting about 20-30 minutes.  It didn't dampen the spirits of the campers.  They are keeping themselves busy with checking traps, knife throwing, atlatl spear throwing and other activities.  And then there is the food, lots of it.  This is not a survival camp by any means.  Stories are being shared around the campfire.  Personal stories that share God's faithfulness, forgiveness, love, patience and care for us.  Pray that these stories will impact these young men and that they will experience forgiveness, hope and peace with God.

God has entrusted something very special to us, the Gospel. Have we accepted it as a sacred trust from Him to us?  His trust in us is great, for He has no other plan for reaching people for Himself.  (excerpt from: "Be Still and Know" by Millie Stamm).

1 Thessalonians 2:4 "On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts.
